If you wish to directly use the account names present in your bookkeeping software we recommend you to follow the steps in this article.

Here are the steps to map the GL codes and account names to the right memo line item in Loop.

1. Go to the bookkeeping section and locate GL mapping or use this link. Click on "Upload GL Codes" to start the process.

2. For your reference, download the sample GL codes sheet provided. The file will contain headers, and you'll need to fill in the remaining columns. Here's a snapshot of what the file looks like. Once you've filled in the necessary details, upload the GL codes sheet.

3. After the upload, you'll be able to see your account names in a dropdown menu next to the memos. Choose the appropriate account names for each memo item. This ensures accurate representation in your GL entries. Don't forget to save your progress.

Note: Please ensure to provide an account name for the A/R (Accounts Receivable) adjustment entry. It is a mandatory field, and leaving it blank may result in unexpected errors. You can learn more about this memo item here.
