LoopAI builds your weekly Uber Eats Journal Entries using Uber’s Payout Summary Reports — usually generated by Uber on Monday or Tuesday for the previous week’s sales period (Monday to Sunday).

This guide walks you through how to validate your Loop Journal Entries against the Uber Eats Payout Summary.

Step 1: Confirm Your Setup

  1. Navigate to Balance -> Journal Entry Automation -> Journal Entries

  2. At the top of the page, check if the Uber Eats logo appears next to “Payouts Based” — this confirms that your setup is built off Uber's Payout Summary reports.

Step 2: Select Locations & desired week in Loop

  1. Stay on the Journal Entries page.

  2. Filter by:

    • Location(s) you wish to review

    • Marketplace: Uber Eats

    • Date Range: Use the payout report generation date, For example: For sales week March 10–16, set the date range as March 17–19.

  3. The corresponding Journal Entry will appear.

  4. You can download Journal Entries in CSV as well by clicking "Download Journal Entries"

Step 3: Access the UberEats Payout Summary Report

  1. Log into your Uber Eats Merchant Portal.

  2. Navigate to Payments > Payouts.

  3. Filter by:

    • The same location(s) you selected in Loop.

    • Pay Period: Match the sales period, e.g. March 10–16.

Alternatively, you can download Uber Payout Summary by visiting Reports.

  1. Click “Create Report”:

    • Report Type: Payout Summary Details

    • Schedule Type: One-time

    • Date Range: Same as payout report period (e.g. March 17–19)

    • Locations: Select one or multiple

  2. Click Create Report and download once available.

Step 4:  Compare Key Values

Uber Payout ReportLoop Journal Entry
Total PayoutNet Payout
Marketplace Fee / CommissionCommission
MarketingMarketing
Order error adjustment
Refunds / Chargebacks
Disputed RefundsReversal

Loop directly parses Uber's Payout Summary file — so these numbers should match exactly.
