Troubleshooting Guide: Why Your Journal Entry (JE) Won't Load on Loop Platform

We understand that you may be facing issues with your Journal Entry (JE) not loading on the Loop platform, despite completing the necessary setup. We appreciate your patience and would like to provide you with a comprehensive guide to address this issue.

Why Your JE Won't Load:

1. GL Codes/Location Mapping Completion: The temporary glitch preventing your JE from loading could be attributed to the recent completion of GL codes/Location mapping on the Loop dashboard. 

After mapping GL codes or locations on the GL mapping screen, it is essential to note that it typically takes a 15-20-minute cooling period for the data to be successfully pulled and reflected on the platform, therefore, please allow sufficient cooling time for the entries to populate on the platform. 

2. Verify GL Mapping: If you encounter issues, double-check the GL mapping screen for any discrepancies or incomplete mappings. Ensure that all relevant charts of accounts are mapped correctly. 

3. Verify Locations Mapping: We also encourage double-checking the location mapping screen for any incomplete mapping and missing locations and to ensure all the desired locations are mapped to the right accounting software if you have multiple accounting software integrated
