Why are my JEs not matching with the payouts in Loop?

Resolving Discrepancies Between Payouts and JE Entries in Loop
You may have come across some discrepancies between the payout numbers displayed in your 3P portals and Loop's Journal entries. This mismatch, particularly notable in instances involving chargebacks and reversals, is an important issue we'd like to clarify for our users.

Where can I find my Payout data in 3P portals?

Discrepancies in payout data
While regular payouts are typically straightforward, issues arise when dealing with chargebacks and reversals. These elements often relate back to earlier transaction dates and therefore might not be reflected in the corresponding payout report for the same period.

Consider a payout report for the week of December 24th to December 31st. This report might show chargebacks, reversals and other miscellaneous charges that are actually associated with transactions from much earlier dates, leading to a mismatch with JE entries for the same period.

Such discrepancies can create confusion in financial reporting, making it challenging to reconcile payouts with JE entries.
